nCrowd.ca has foreclosed and re-branded to BoomStreet. I immediately stopped posting all nCrowd’s deals on my blog when I first heard rumours about it.
If you have any unused nCrowd vouchers or have not received purchased merchandise from nCrowd, you should have no problems getting a refund if you contact the credit card you used to buy the deal on nCrowd and request a chargeback. Simply call your credit card company and tell them nCrowd is no longer in business and the credit card will process a chargeback.
It’s unfortunate nCrowd is no longer around. They were the company that purchased a bunch of Canadian daily deals sites (Ie. TeamBuy, DealFind, Dealthons, etc…). I urge you to stay around from Boomstreet and not buy any deals from them.
Moving forward, I will only feature daily deals for the best and most establish daily deals sites in Canada (Groupon, LivingSocial, WagJag, Buytopia and Tuango).

I’m blogging from Anaheim, California! One of the benefits of being a full-time blogger is the freedom to work from anywhere in the world as long as I have a laptop.
I’m a diehard Flames fan and have been following the Flames in the Playoffs. I attended 5 of the 6 games against the Canucks in Round 1, and had a nice (4W, 1L) record. I declared myself the Flames lucky charm and booked a last minute flight to Anaheim for Games #1 and #2. I’ll be back in Calgary to join the CofRed for Games #3 and #4.
It definitely helps being a deal hunter. I researched and found cheap flights, hotel, and car rental. Unlike Calgary, there’s not a lot of demand for playoff tickets in Vancouver and Anaheim. You can easily buy tickets for below face value in both cities. I found a very good pair of lower bowl tickets in Anaheim for 37% below face value!
No matter what happens, win or lose, I’m proud of this team and to be a Calgarian. This playoff run has brought the best out of everyone. The Red Mile after we eliminated the Canucks in Game 6 was incredible. The sense of unity and community is what makes this city great.

I’m shocked and disappointed by the news. TeamBuy/DealFind was one of my favourite daily deals sites. I bought a lot of deals from them over the last couple years and never had any issues.
Allegedly, TeamBuy/DealFind is no longer offering refunds and has stopped paying their merchants. This has forced some merchants to stop accepting/honouring their vouchers. If you have any oustanding TeamBuy/DealFind vouchers that you haven’t used, your I suggest you contact the merchant and ask if they’re still honouring the voucher. If they’re not, you can contact TeamBuy to request a refund or call the number on the back of your credit card and request a charge back.
Because I can’t guarantee if any deals purchased from TeamBuy/DealFind will be honoured, I’m going to stop posting TeamBuy/DealFind deals on my blog. I will keep you posted and will let you know if I hear any updates about this matter. In the meantime, I will continue to work hard and find all the best deals by posting them on my blog.
UPDATE: I talked to TeamBuy (on Sept 15) and was told they are currently in the process of a corporate restructure. They are strengthening their financial position and will come back stronger then ever. They are expected to announce positive news as early as next week.
