Locally owned and operated, Mission Snow and Skate furnishes its extreme-sport superstore with knowledgeable staff and top-quality snow, skate, and BMX equipment. One of Mission’s snowboard senseis will tune up, wax, and base fill your mountain-skimming magic carpet with the aid of some old-fashioned know-how, granting your board the confidence to glide like a greased-up eagle on roller skates. Edge sharpening precision-points the perimeter and can remove rust or debris accumulated from boarding down the iron dunes of Mars. A base fill will smooth out any nicks and dings before a shiny new coat of wax protects the base’s core from damage and reduces friction. If you are on the lookout for a shiny piece of new gear, check out Mission Snow and Skate’s stock of name brands including Burton, Rome, Ride, and K2.

Cheap Calgary Flames Tickets vs Canucks, Oilers, Lightning, Coyotes (Below Face Value)

I had a friend ask me to help him sell some leftover corporate Flames pre-season tickets on this blog. I only agreed to help him because they were so cheap and such a great deal. I already picked up a couple pairs for myself. Here’s a rare chance to pick up some very nice Flames tickets for below face value and some for below cost!

As most of you know, the Flames are the hottest ticket in town and have sold out every single home game since 2004. Tickets are very popular and hard to get. These are all very good seats and all pairs of tickets are side-by-side. Here’s what is leftover:

Calgary Flames vs Vancouver Canucks on Sept. 21
All Sold

Calgary Flames vs Tampa Bay Lightning on Sept. 25
All Sold
Calgary Flames vs Phoenix Coyotes on Sept. 28
2 Tickets in Section 217, Row 21 for only $70 (Face Value is $110. Flames Attack Zone)
2 Tickets in Section 213, Row 10 for only $160 (Face is $270. Near Center Ice)

Calgary Flames vs. Edmonton Oilers on Oct. 3
2 Tickets in Section 216, Row 3 for only $250 (Face is $324. Flames Attack Zone)
2 Tickets in Section 226, Row 12 for only $160 (Face is $204. Center Ice in 1st Row of White Level)

If you’re interested in any of the tickets, please follow these instructions exactly:
1. This deal is only available to people who have signed-up for our newsletter. If you haven’t signed-up yet, you can join now by filling out the box on the top right corner of every page or by clicking here.
2. Send an email to info@calgarydealsblog.com and include your name, phone number and which tickets you’re interested in.
3. We will then call you to arrange a mutually convenient time and place to meet-up to complete the deal.

The tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis and priority will be given to people who purchase multiple games. These are all hard copy authentic season ticket holder tickets. All of the prices above are firm. If you’re not familiar with the Saddledome, you can Click here to view a Seating Map and Pricing.

I will update this post when tickets are sold. If you see the tickets listed here, it means they are still available. At this time, these are the only games available for sale.

Thanks and GO FLAMES GO!

Foot Locker Friends and Family 30% Off Sale Aug 26-29

Get 30% Off at Foot Locker’s Friends and Family sale!

I found this deal posted on the SPC website. You can click here to download the coupon.

I’m think it’s only for SPC card holders, but it doesn’t mention or say anything about it in the fine print. Some of the other companies on the same page with deals clearly mention it’s for SPC card holders only. The Foot Locker deal doesn’t say anything so if you don’t have a SPC Card, you’re welcome to try it out and let us know how it goes.

The regular SPC card is only for students. If you’re not a student, but want a SPC card, read my previous post about how you can get a VIP SPC card for Free. The VIP SPC card allows anyone to use it. I ordered a VIP SPC card a couple weeks ago and just got it in the mail.

UPDATE: Turns out you do not need a SPC card to take advantage of the deal. Anyone who prints out the coupon gets it. Please note, some items are excluded from the deal (Ie. Puma, Jordan shoes) because the manufacturers won’t allow certain products to go on sale.

You can click here to download the coupon.

NHL 11 Demo Now Available for Xbox 360 & PS3

I know this isn’t a deal, but I was very excited to find out that EA Sports released the NHL 11 Demo yesterday. You can download the demo on Xbox Live or on the Playstation 3 Network. If you don’t see in in the new release section, just search for “NHL” and it should come up. I love this game so much that I’m still playing NHL 10 on a regular basis.

I downloaded the demo and couldn’t stop playing it. There’s a ton of new features that I’m very excited about. The full retail version will be available on September 7, 2010. I can’t wait!

Are you looking forward to this game as well? Which NHL team do you cheer for?
