The Foothills Orchid Society entrances attendees with exceptional and fragrant blooming orchids and demonstrates techniques for at-home gardening to botany aficionados and novices alike. Entitled Orchids for Everyone, the show exhibits diverse blooms from local and international societies, Foothills Orchid Society members, individual enthusiasts, and vendors such as Paramount Orchids and Forestview Gardens. During cultural presentations, society members dispense advice to participants interested in cultivating their own orchids or assembling flower-petal mosaics of their favourite prime minister. Vendors present bountiful arrays of orchids at the sales area for patrons to tend to at home. The event organizers supply free parking and soothing hand ointments for those who swing to the show via vine.
