Calgary Flames: 2016 Authentic Equipment Sale (May 28, 8am-1pm)

The Calgary Flames are holding their annual Authentic Equipment Sale this Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 8am – 1pm.

I’ve gone to the sale every year for probably the last 10 years. There’s lots of cool stuff if you’re a Flames fan.

Over the years, I’ve noticed more and more people camping out overnight or wait in line super early and buy up all the very cool stuff. If you’re serious about getting anything good, I suggest you go at least an hour early before the doors open to have a chance of picking up something decent. Popular players equipment (Ie. Gaudreau, Monahan, Giordano, Brodie) are sold for a premium (collectors value) and are quickly sold, but you can pick up some nice equipment for cheap that’s worn by less popular players. They often have brand new or barely used stuff on sale as well.
