Deep in the old-growth forests near Revelstoke, there’s a place where humans can walk more than 30 feet above the ground, gliding and leaping through the trees like method actors playing squirrels in a summer blockbuster. That place is SkyTrek Adventure Park, a wilderness playground that’s home to a range of pulse-pounding attractions.

The aforementioned high-ropes course is designed to challenge visitors of all ages while being easy on the forest—its platforms are secured to the trees using environmentally friendly building techniques. Suspension bridges, swathes of netting, speedy zip lines, and sliding aerial skateboards present plenty of exciting ways to navigate the forest canopy.
