The experience-heavy and speed-smitten instructors at Allen Berg Racing Schools and their fleet of authentic competition-grade race karts initiate tire-burning training for amateur auto racers. The karting experience begins with a 20-minute speed-centred seminar, during which up to eight racers review basic operation of the car, including how to sweet-talk it into driving them to work in the morning. Once fitted for uniforms and karts, speed stars jump in for a ride around the 1.2-kilometre track, which includes a 10-minute session led by an instructor and 10-minute solo trek around the track, zooming from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour and leaving sluggish drive-thru lines in their wake.
All riders are also furnished with a $50 gift certificate good toward any Allen Berg Racing Schools program if purchased within 90 days or before classes fill up with car-curious thoroughbreds.
