Sportchek – Free Skate Sharpening until August 30

Sportschek is offering Free Skate Sharpening from August 4 – August 30, 2010. The deal is available in all Calgary locations. You don’t need a coupon or anything to take advantage of this deal. Simply bring your skates in and drop them off at the skate sharpening booth. There is a limit of three skate sharpenings per customer per visit.

Since The Forzani Group owns Sportschek and Hockey Experts, Hockey Experts has the exact same Free Skate Sharpening offer. We posted about it here a couple weeks ago. Sportschek’s skate sharpening always seems to be a hit or miss. I much prefer the way Hockey Experts sharpens my skates. They are much more consistent and I love the new Blackstone Flat Bottom V (FBV) method.
