Today’s Groupon to Soho Bar and Grill. Choose from the following options:

• For $10, you get $20 worth of fusion pub fare and drinks at lunch.
• For $20, you get $40 worth of fusion pub fare and drinks at dinner.
• For $25, you get two tickets for seating at the Calgary Stampede parade on Friday, July 8, starting at 9 a.m. (a $49.90 value).

Soho Bar and Grill’s chefs craft fusion pub fare to woo the traditional and adventurous sides of each palate. Starters such as gyoza made with pan-fried pork and vegetable in sambal sauce ($10) drag taste buds to the dance floor, and crab-and-avocado salad practices edible performance art in balsamic vinaigrette ($15). Chefs season the 8-ounce SoHo burger in a special blend of spices before topping with guacamole, goat cheese, and black-pepper bacon and swaddling their dish in a cornmeal kaiser roll ($15). Amid contemporary decor, a diverse main menu beckons intrepid eaters to scale the peaks of hearty dishes such as four-cheese ravioli stuffed with herbs and topped with crawfish, topped with avalanches of béchamel cream sauce and garlic bread ($19). Evening eaters can sample the bar’s signature martinis and spend Friday and Saturday nights with the resident DJs spinning party rhythms and remixed fax-noise ballads.

Eyeballs can also opt to hungrily gather up the transient sights of the Calgary Stampede parade from directly in front of Soho’s restaurant space, commandeering sidewalk territory at Ninth Avenue and Sixth Street. Parade attendants hone horse telepathy skills during a Western-themed procession led by the Calgary Stampede Showband. Enjoy a passing gallery of floats, bands, horseback riders, and masqueraders in full cowboy and Native American garb. Spectators may even sight Harry the Horse greeting children during the first day of the 10-day festivities.
